The American Society for human genetics (ASHG) holds its annual meeting in major cities in the United States or Canada every autumn. Each year, there are more than 6000 scientific participants from all over the world and more than 250 participating companies. ASHG members and leading scientists from all over the world will be invited to present their research results. ASHG annual meeting is the largest gathering of human genetics professionals in the world.

Founded in 1948, the American Society for human genetics (ASHG) is the leading professional member organization of global human genetics experts. It now has nearly 8000 members, including researchers, academicians, clinicians, laboratory practice experts, genetic consultants, nurses and others interested in the field of human genetics. Its members work in a wide range of universities, hospitals and research institutes Medical and research laboratories.
